Due to the high traffic area along Centre Road in Clayton, drilling works had to be completed overnight to ensure minimum disruption to daytime traffic. Both sides of this major road required replacement of an old, damaged watermain. Our crews had to install 180mm water pipeline which proved to be very delicate due to the high number of underground services that existed either side of the road. This job took two weeks in total with both water mains being successfully replaced and now in use
